I have had a few people ask me about our new natural eared wonder. I finally got a page up for her. You can see her pedigree here!!
What we are up to!

I hoped to have a dog ready for the UDC Nationals, but at this rate… it isn’t going to happen. The snow (and work) are putting a huge dent in my ability to train. Here are some photos of Frodo and Ratter from today:
Draco (the screaming banshee) is currently locked away due to her heat status and Cosmo says Ratter needs to die
Ahhh… I think we have a little cabin fever here!!!

Ratter is less than thrilled about walking around in snow up to her ears
It was a tough decision, but I have decided to pass on cropping and let this girl have her ears

For the concerned, I haven’t been posting many photos lately because Frodo took it upon himself to break my favorite Nikon D200 lens. And just in case it wasn’t a 100% broke, I managed to drop it while examining the initial damage…
Frodo faithfully sat at my side as I watched the demise of my beloved lens. Such a tragedy. Until the new lens arrives, please sit back and enjoy my most recent photos from the Kodak point and click camera, that I would never recommend anyone buy.

I wanted to take a minute to say CONGRATULATIONS to Lyn and Charlie Brown of Viking’s Doberman for their success today!!! Charlie Brown not only earned his VPG 2, but did it in style with scores of 91-92-96A. He walked away with High Obedience, High Protection, High VPG 2, and High in Trial!!!
I know Lyn is currently on cloud nine and looking forward to hearing about their experience over a glass of wine

I am proud of my little brown girl
She put a smile on my face when she easily passed her TR1 today with 90 points and her OB1 with 83 points today.
Unfortunately Cosmo had to take the past year and a half off after I took a new job that required me to spend an extensive amount of time away from home and then she had my D Litter… which required more time off.
I brought her back out to training four weeks ago, to see what she remembered. Cosmo showed me she hadn’t forgot a thing
After four training sessions, I entered her in the WAG trial for her TR1 and OB1. She passed without issue and I am looking forward to 2010. If all goes well, we should have her SchH 3 by the end of the year.
