What we are up to!
Congratulations to Chris Rasmussen’s expected C-Litter!! It sounds like Quinna vom Aurachgrund has a boatload of puppies packed in her and Arras vom Moeller Hof is the proud father
FYI Arras is the sire of our C and D litter. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend this litter. Learn more about the von Moeller Hof C Litter here!

Burkhard von Schlottke has found his new forever home with us after being abandoned by his previous owner. He was left in a garage in NC, in over a 100 degree weather, in a small crate to die.
I owe a HUGE thank you to the individuals who stepped in and not only saved him, but saved the other dogs, puppies and animals that were still living in the home… unfortunately some were not so lucky. I was told when Brownie was found he weighed around 35 lbs and more than likely would not have survived the night. Oh, did I mention he had a bark collar on too? I guess the previous owner didn’t want to hear his final pleads for food and water. One promise I can assure Brownie, is he will never have to worry about such things again. Once I am given the green light to discuss the details of his rescue, rest assured I will post here for everyone to read.
Below are photos of Brownie and his new BFF Ratter having fun. These are taken almost exactly two months after he was found and as you can see he is doing great!! Although, his back right leg is causing him pain and needs to be seen at UPENN. I am not sure if this is a result of a traumatic injury (abuse?) or from being kept in a tiny crate 24/7. I will keep everyone posted on his progress.

von Schlottke welcomes our new friends Harley and Tiger from the Gloucester County Humane Society.
I have never owned cats before, but decided (with the urging of my children) it was time to welcome a pair into my home. I have come to the conclusion they are strange but lovable. Both are adult males and were roomies at the shelter. They have adjusted without issues and Tiger is one brave cat. He has no issues with stalking and taking a swipe at the dogs.
Unfortunately during Harley’s first vet visit, we discovered he has a heart murmur. I thought it was ironic since the Doberman breed is plagued with heart disease, but we are optimistic it won’t impact his life span.
We are currently feeding Merrick’s Before Grain Salmon.

Harley:
Dogs spent it lounging around, ignoring their new wading pool, and fighting with each other. Oh, and Draco enjoyed walking in the local parade
She invited herself, but that is ok.
