I am proud of my little brown girl
She put a smile on my face when she easily passed her TR1 today with 90 points and her OB1 with 83 points today.
Unfortunately Cosmo had to take the past year and a half off after I took a new job that required me to spend an extensive amount of time away from home and then she had my D Litter… which required more time off.
I brought her back out to training four weeks ago, to see what she remembered. Cosmo showed me she hadn’t forgot a thing
After four training sessions, I entered her in the WAG trial for her TR1 and OB1. She passed without issue and I am looking forward to 2010. If all goes well, we should have her SchH 3 by the end of the year.

After attending the NC UDC Regional Show, I am proud to announce:
von Schlottke’s Dark Knight:
*Passed her puppy temperament test
*Earned second place in conformation class under judge May Jacobson
*Earned first place in her conformation class under judge Doug Matson
*Earned Best Puppy under judge Doug Matson
Fed Ex von Rubbenhof:
*Passed his Adult Temperament Test
*Earned a G rating under May Jacobson (Poor boy, he doesn’t know he isn’t pretty)
Jingo’s Bellicose Beelzebub von Schlottke CGC:
*Earned a VG rating under May Jacobson
*Earned a VG rating under Doug Matson
*Failed his YTT. It was one of those days. Frodo is as social as they get, but for some reason that day he was not comfortable in the crowd. Oh, well… there is always another day. I am also going to get his thyroid checked to rule out any medical reasons for his behavior.

I just want to take a second to say the Working Dobermans of the Carolinas put on a wonderful UDC Conformation show and Temperament Test this past Saturday. It took a little coaxing from Chris of von Moeller Hof Dobermanns to convince me to enter, but I am glad I did. The conformation judges May Jacobson and Doug Matson not only did an excellent job of judging, but were very informative in their critiques and forgiving/patient with the novice handlers. I also can’t forget to mention Nazarene Mondello did an excellent job reading the dogs for the UDC temperament test.
On top of the judging, the Working Dobermans of the Carolinas club members did a wonderful job of putting on the event. The show ring was indoors and air conditioned, they also had a silent auction, and some cool sweat shirts, blankets, and leashes to choose from for purchase. Of course I couldn’t help myself had to get a blanket and sweatshirt to remember the day!!
I have to say, if UDC continues to put on such well organized shows… I am more than willing to travel the US to enter my dogs
A huge thumbs up from von Schlottke Dobermans for this event!!
Now I just need to get my dogs trained up for the UDC Nationals.

Below are photos of Conan, or known to me as Condor; who is looking for a forever loving home. He comes from excellent bloodlines and parents are fully health tested and titled.
Condor is very loving boy, who had a rough start in life. He was returned to the stud owner, lived with me last summer, and has since been returned to his breeder. He gets along with other dogs and would make an excellent pet. He has some basic obedience. If interested contact me and I can put you in touch with his breeder.
